Short stack hand review/analysis/stats

Tuesday, July 29th, 2008

I pulled out hands to date from my short stacking games, filtered the ones where I went to showdown, eliminated the check down hands to get the ones where I raised and got all-in.

Amir Vahedi: “You must be willing to die in order to live”

Tuesday, July 15th, 2008

Why am I so nitty about my bankroll sometimes? Since I was forced to cash out one site when it got shut down, I’ve cashed out more than I’ve ever deposited, so the money that I do still have on-line at PokerStars and at Full Tilt is all poker earnings/winnings. Recently I’ve taken some stabs [...]

Gambler, or Investor?

Friday, May 2nd, 2008

There definitely was an interest for me then. I could sense that the must be some optimal strategy, (even [...]

More playing blind, freeroll thoughts

Monday, April 28th, 2008

Well, I’ve almost depleted my play money bankroll with the “playing blind” exercise, at least the amounts that will let me play the higher buyin Sit and Goes. And I played a points tourney trying to earn tourney dollars so I could use that to play cheap real money tourneys blind, but I didn’t win/cash [...]
