Overaggression?

  • Yesterday was not happy; too much anxiousness
  • Today, kept getting donked into. Maybe partly because my stats were high on some tables; 32/24 and the like; 21/13 total for the session
  • Made the mistake of c-betting w/low pair into three because I didn’t notice that I had 2 callers instead of 1; need to fix the HUD so I can see all players cards
  • Need to not auto-raise donk bets, especially if they are large and if there is more than one opponent
  • Need more patience. VP$IP was high due to cards and situations, but slightly too much aggression / impatience post flop
  • Consciously toned down the stealing on some tables because of the high VP$IP and high steal percentages; is this a good idea or no?
  • General lack of patience? Played private tourney and had difficulty with laydowns

Wondering if the overaggression can be a function of trying to turn marginal hands or good but beaten hands into big winners? 3rd session of the day the only big winner was KK AI pre against QQ. Even with 6 tables maybe I don’t have enough patience to wait for these big hands?

Also the old problem of knowing that I’m a better player makes me try to outplay them, falling victim to simple slowplays from the flop on, or reraising when I don’t have fold equity.
