Runned pretty good; 425 hands on 6 tables, 18.2/10.9, PfPA of 9.54, plus 46 bb/100.

Stats are a bit loose/passive, but on one table in particular there was a 79/10 fish that had a 300 bb stack when I sat down that I kept calling in position. Finally got some chips from them. I tend to limp behind fish like this as they often don’t fold to raises when they’ve accumulated a lot of chips and also don’t fold to c-bets. What I give up in preflop equity often can be made up by the awful plays they make post flop.

But I didn’t pay enough attention, as I was also involved in this hand at the same time …

But I think this guy got ticked off at me as he started playing back at me on this table and another, and then on this hand ….

I decide it’s not worth it. Though it’s possible he’s trying to bluff me off with nothing, the most likely situation is that he also as the straight and he’s just trying to buy the pot, but because the board paired on the river and the possibility of him slowplaying KK/AA here isn’t out of the question. QQ makes a lot of sense here too, that was afraid to bet the flop 3 way, and then on the turn sees the straight by has a set so he has to call. I opt to fold because the pot really isn’t worth the overbet.

One more hand, another losing one, but I had to call the river. I should have raised the turn, but all I really had to fear was an Ace on the river …

Side note: After probably two months of thinking, waiting, checking sales, I finally went ahead and bought a 23″ monitor. My ‘puter is a 2 1/2 year old laptop which still does everything I want it too, but for the past couple of years I’ve also plugged an old CRT into it as a second screen. Since my poker earnings to date are around $2,400 I figured that poker has earned a bigger/better monitor for pokering. Pretty nice for 6 tabling.
