April 2010 Carnival of Board and Card Games

Well, I certainly like the fact that I’m getting more valid submissions for this Carnival, rather than the normal spam looking for links.

There’s a few cool links here, games that I’m not familiar with. Still, nothing from regular players of regular popular games, like Chess, Bridge, Monopoly, games that I’m sure there have thousands of regular players, but maybe no one blogs about their games and strategy?

Anyway, here’s what I have for this edition:

At Wandering Educators Jessie found a game that teaches geography as you work your way around the globe:

And at her math instruction blog (there’s a blog for everything!) Denise explains a math game designed to practice using random values (on cards) and figure out various mathematical operations to get a target value.
