It's so hard to make a bankroll by playing freeroll tournaments. I think the main reason for the beginners to play in these is to learn the basics of poker, not try to win money. If they are sure they have the basics, they should deposit $10, that's the minimum and start playibg at 0.01$/0.02$. Those game can be found on full tilt.

Yeah, that PR rake jives with what I've read as well, info from a French player, but I think he's entirely on FT.

Plus, according to the reputable, independent, and wholly trustworthy 2+2 NVG board: They have to pay PF rake. That thread was pretty saucy before someone introduced that... I'm not sure if it's true or not but I'd bet against it being real; PS isn't that stupid.

Additionally, someone said they have 7% rake now... Again, totally unsourced and I can't read French.

I really enjoyed this post- I haven't done Chatroulette because of aformentioned, and unwanted male exhibitionism. I am glad you reviewed it for me- and I also wondered about the politeness of just walking out on a conversation! It's interesting to me the way that people fear engaging with others- sometimes valid and sometimes not. I watched a little kid today repeatedly try to engage the little girl beside him with a compliment, only to be ignored. She took off the ring he was complimenting. Boundaries!!

The additional benefit he had was, of course, Supernova (elite too, I think?). He used his FPPs to buy bonuses which, in my opinion, defeated the object of actually winning all of the $100k.

The information comes from a thread that I linked in the 2+2 forum, supported by email correspondence with PokerStars. Some of the emails come from one of the banned players; in fact the thread is initiated by her. She claims that she is not part of the group but that she just happens to live in the same city and play the same DONs.

One thing that I didn't point out is that the structure of DONs make it 1) easier to teach to play than say deep stacked cash tables, and 2) very useful for collusion since half of the table wins. Because everyone plays to be in the top 50% only, two colluding players can really help each other to make the cut.
