It’s Sunday; Are you ready for some … poker?

I’m not much of a television watcher. I am, however, a big NFL fan; probably half the total hours of TV for me in a year for me is watching football. I also don’t play MTTs very well unless I have something to keep me from getting impatient, such as friends playing the same tournie or some other element to keep me from getting impatient.
So I‘m putting these things together and donking my way through cheap MTTs while watching football on Sundays. Yesterday I ITMed a 45 and a 90 player SnG and fell just short in a 180 player, for a net of almost doubling my buyins. The nice thing about these is that I don’t have to pay attention. I watch TV until the computer beeps to tell me that it’s my turn, look at my position, stacks around me, stats on the players, my cards, make a choice and then go back to TV. If I raise preflop I don’t even watch to see if I get called because it takes too long for people to make decisions. The only time that I keep watching the computer is when I’m involved post flop since there are fewer players (except in the opening limp-fests) and it doesn’t take quite so long.
The reason that I play cheap MTTs for this situation is that I can use zero or at most first level thinking, which doesn’t require much attention. It’s kinda fun, though obviously there’s not much profit involved.

The other game I played while watching was some 6 max 0.05/0.10 at a new site. I got fooled into thinking that there was a $50 bonus available if I made a deposit, and the minimum was $5. I made a $10 deposit, but the bonus has to be earned, it’s not automatic. Why I thought it was automatic, I don’t know. Most sites make you earn the bonus so I don’t know why I thought this one was different.
I tell you, it’s tough trying to earn a bonus playing the cheapest tables with no bankroll and no willingness to re-deposit. When I did this on PokerStars at least I had deposited $50 and was willing to redeposit if need be. Now, I have no intention of depositing any more but I still want to earn as much bonus as I can so I’m playing pretty careful while trying not to play too tight/weak. My biggest loss so far was $3.50 or so stacking preflop with QQ; maniac had TT but hit at T on the turn. Somewhere around $17 at the moment, which includes $2.50 in bonus earned. I don’t know why I do this, but I must like the restrictions of the challenge.
