Demonstration video! This is a 40 min video designed to show examples of playing the starting hands that I recommend, and in the table positions that I recommend. What I'm trying to do with this video is to re-inforce the concepts and starting hand chart that I proposed. There is some postflop play, but the video is almost entirely focused on preflop. Key concepts that I hope to get across:
This video was recorded at Full Tilt while playing Rush Poker. If you are not familiar with Rush Poker it plays just like a regular poker cash game except that 1) you move to a new table for each hand, and 2) you don't have to watch the end of the hand once you decide to fold. Because you don't watch the outcome of folded hands I can show many examples of how to play preflop in a short space of time. Because we constantly move to a new seat at a new table it may be confusing for those not familiar with it but it also allows me to repeat the fact that we need to consider our postion at the table before anything else. It's also a great place to practice your own preflop game. |

At about 13:50 in the video I have AJ and I say that I'm in the beginning of early position. I meant the beginning of middle position, and then I proceed to flop trip Jacks. I've learned that it's not that easy to play and continue to speak well, so if there are other things that I say that are confusing, please let me know. |
