I really need a more level-headed approach to grinding up my small bankrolls. I tend to want to get in to cheap tournaments or low cash games and dominate, being amazed at some of the bad plays. The bad plays tend to encourage me to feel superior and increase my expectation of winning, every hand. [...]

Well, after 3 weeks of almost all 6 max, I seem to be running well at full ring again.
One 7 table session of $10nl to get into it, one 3-4 table session of $25nl, 600 hands total at rates of 69.8 and 89.6 bbs/100 respectively. Obv sustainable. Helped by winning 4-4 showdowns during the $25 [...]
I know I’m cueing the doomswitch, but out of the last 11 sessions I’ve had only one down session. Mind you, the last one is only up 0.90, but it’s all good, and even the down session was only $2.50 or so down.

Having achieved the short term goal of silverstar for the month I can now play whatever/whenever I feel like it again. The longer term objective of the re-deposit bonus should be easily achievable so there’s really no need to worry about it.

AK behind a 13/10 short stack, lost to QQ. I read him as less nitty than some, but 1) he’s not folding, so 2) I’m only ahead if he’s raising AQ. At best I’m likely hoping he has AK. Marginal, but I can/should be able to fold this.
